Volunteer Opportunities for Veterans
Care Packages for Deployed Troops
Join us each month to assemble over 200 care packages for deployed troops. This enjoyable event is open to individuals of all ages, providing a wonderful opportunity to come together in supporting veterans. Families, co-workers, friends, and groups are all welcome to participate in these volunteer events.
When: 2nd Monday of each month, 5:30-7:00 PM. Please check the calendar for links to sign up or contact us at youth4troops@gmail.com with any questions.
Where: 3701 W Anthem Way in the Anthem Civic Building.
Registration: While registration is appreciated, it is not required.

projects supporting veterans community service night
On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, volunteers will gather for various volunteer events aimed at supporting veterans. Projects will include creating care packages for deployed troops, crafting plastic mats for homeless veterans, assembling care bags for homeless or at-risk veterans, providing move-in baskets for veterans transitioning from homelessness to apartments, and working on craft projects for local veteran homes and events. This initiative is open to all ages. Please check the calendar for links to sign up and volunteer.

Appreciation Card Drive for Care Packages
Anyone anywhere can participate in our appreciation card events aimed at supporting veterans. If your group or organization wishes to show appreciation, contact us to coordinate a card writing event. We can provide the cards, or you can express your creativity with homemade cards. These heartfelt messages will be included in care packages for deployed troops and sent to veterans.

decorate boxes for care packages
We need assistance with decorating over 200 boxes each month for care packages for deployed troops. If your group or organization wants to show appreciation while supporting veterans, contact us about coordinating a box decorating event. We can provide information on how to order the USPS 1092 boxes for free so you can start decorating. Completed flat boxes can be shipped to us or dropped off in one of our donation boxes or at any of our volunteer events.

Freedom Isn’t Free Mobile Events
If your school, business, church, or organization is interested in hosting a mobile event focused on supporting veterans, please reach out to us. We can customize events to fit your group's size, ages, and budget, and offer hands-on projects, including assembling care packages for deployed troops. Our presentation will share our mission and inspire community service through volunteer events.

Sponsor a Holiday Care Package for Deployed Troops
Help us bring holiday cheer to our deployed service members by sponsoring items for our Holiday Care Packages. We’re filling each box with festive treats, Christmas stockings, hot cocoa kits, candy canes, snacks, personal care items, and other thoughtful surprises to remind them they’re appreciated and remembered. Every donation helps brighten the holiday season for the brave men and women serving far from home.
